Three individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident that occurred on Sunday morning on the George Walker Bush Highway
The incident involved a 23-seater Sprinter Bus with registration number GR-6046-21, which was transporting passengers from Ablekuma to Kasoa.
The accident was caused by the bursting of one of the bus’s back tires, resulting in a fatal crash. Additionally, several other passengers sustained various injuries in the collision.
Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle was traveling at a high speed when it somersaulted three times near Awoshie Water Works. Prompt response from the police and ambulance services allowed for the transportation of the deceased and injured individuals to the hospital.
