The socialite according some reports is still in Police custody following the decision and is yet to pay the fine slapped on her.

The Tema High Court reached this decision following the adjudication of a case filed by Chairman Wontumi who dragged Nana Ama McBrown (host of UTV United Showbiz show) Kwame A-Plus and others to court last year for a televised show where the complainant accused these persons of defamation.

In a live telecast of the show, the socialite, Afia Schwarzenegger at the time allegedly , accused Chairman Wontumi of a sexual affair with her but this was subsequently denied by the Ashanti Regional Chairman.

In a pure show of schadenfreude, some users on twitter seem to be happy with the charge and ban with comments bashing the socialite and suggesting other celebrities who should face same.

Afia Schwarzenegger has been involved in several events and controversies over the years. She was once captured in a trending video where she was accused of cheating on her boyfriend with another man.
