These reports are largely mere rumors by some social media users and YouTubers who have alleged that Twene Jonas was shot by unknown gunmen in the streets of New York

The outspoken critic is known to heavily criticize the ruling political party NPP and President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, blaming the president and party of recklessly managing the economy which have consequently unleashed untold hardships on Ghanaians.

Most fans and well wishers have commented in his Facebook live videos advising Twene Jonas of taking precautions and seeking the necessary protections against possible harm following verbal attacks and threats on his life.
