According to Ghana’s Ministry of Health, no confirmed Ebola cases have been recorded in Ghana or West Africa at this time. However, the government is urging citizens to remain calm but vigilant as precautionary measures are intensified nationwide.

The Health Minister advised Ghanaians to observe strict hygiene protocols, including frequent handwashing, the use of hand sanitizers, and avoiding direct contact with bodily fluids of infected persons.

Public event organizers have also been encouraged to provide proper sanitation facilities. The World Health Organization declared the Ebola outbreak in parts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda a global public health emergency due to concerns over cross-border transmission and rising suspected cases.
