Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Chairman Wontumi remarked that Ghana is changing faster than Europe during the NPP UK Townhall meeting at the Trinity Baptist Church in Croydon, London.
Chairman Wontumi in a trending video emphatically stated that Ghana’s development is assured and that a single political party must remain in power to foresee continued growth of the country.
According to him, a change of government will mean no development for a period of two years since the new government will need two years to peruse contracts and make the necessary adjustments.
In his speech, he mentioned that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s policies are unprecedented.
Many Ghanaians and X users have slammed his comments describing them as untrue and contradictory.
He is right though. It doesn’t mean ghana is Changing in a positive way. Plus unprecedented also means the worst policies ever seen in the history of the country so there is that, one user said on X.
He’s contradicting himself…. In one breath Ghana is changing faster than Europe and in one breath Ghana needs 1 party yo be given ample time to develop the country…It doesn’t make sense. Another user commented.
