Andre Ayew’s failure to convert a late penalty in their 3-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday is his second consecutive penalty miss and has got the Ghanaian captain trending.
Football fans on Twitter have ridiculed the Ghanaian and Nottingham forward for his inability to convert penalty kicks as they share photos and videos of his missed penalty.
The Ghanaian captain suffered similar fate in a heated game between Ghana and Uruguay in the just-ended Qatar Fifa World Cup 2022 leading the Black Stars elimination.
This is the second consecutive penalty Ayew has missed after his crucial miss in the World Cup against Uruguay that saw Ghana eliminated from the contest.
