Former President of the United States (POTUS) Donald Trump has had his twitter account reinstated by Twitter boss, Elon Musk.
This decision follows a poll by the Twitter boss which attracted 52% respondents in favour of reinstating Trump’s account and 48% respondents against the decision.
Trump’s account was banned due to a ‘pro-Trump mob attack’ on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, as Congress was poised to certify Joe Biden’s election victory.
Elon Musk started a poll titled “Reinstate former President Trump” and subsequently posted results of the poll with majority concurring to the decision to reinstate Donald Trump.

Elon Musk added that God has spoken through the people per the poll results and quoted a Latin phrase to that effect
The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. ‘Vox Populi, Vox Dei’ (The voice of the people is the voice of God).

Some reports however suggest that the former President of the United States isn’t interested in rejoining Twitter hence sees no reason for it.
