Amoabeng suggested that influential figures within the Akufo-Addo administration, whom he referred to as ‘cockroaches’ harboring envy, exploited state institutions to undermine him.

During his legal proceedings for alleged financial malfeasance, Amoabeng disclosed that he obtained court permission to travel to the United States for a medical examination.

Despite this, he claimed that certain powerful individuals within the government utilized state mechanisms to influence the U.S. embassy, branding him a security risk.
