The tweet highlighted procedural approaches for immigrant visa applicants and what ought to be done.
Applicants will receive two notifications: one for their visa interview and a separate email specifying the date of their pre-screening appointment, along with a list of required documents. During the pre-screening, consular staff will review the submitted documents and notify applicants of any missing items. Applicants are then expected to gather the required documents before their visa interview.
At the time of the visa interview, consular officers will verify if the applicant attended their pre-screening and has all necessary documents. Applicants who missed their pre-screening or fail to provide the required documents will need to reschedule their visa interview for a later date. This process applies strictly to immigrant visa applicants. It explained.
