Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil has advised young men to “be bold and marry” and not wait to get rich before marrying.

He urged singles not to delay marriage while waiting to accumulate wealth. In a sermon that has sparked widespread discussion on social media, he challenged the common belief that financial stability is a must before tying the knot. Narrative he opined is wrong.

Set a date. If a veil makes you anxious, skip it; if wearing a gown feels overwhelming, don’t bother. Just come to the church office, declare, ‘This is the woman I want, and this is the man I want.’ We’ll ask, ‘Do you?’ and when you say, ‘I do,’ that’s it. You’ll begin your life together, and you’ll find that the challenges you encounter are easier to handle. He added
