Members of the Resurrection Power New Generation Church have been hit with the saddest news today as reports indicate that their head pastor and founder Rev. Kwadwo Boakye is dead.
The late pastor and founder of the church who was loved by many Ghanaians and congregants of his church reportedly died on Tuesday night at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital but cause of death is yet to be disclosed.
It was revealed in November 2021, that the late pastor Rev Kwadwo Boakye suffered from stroke, reports which were emphatically refuted by his wife who claimed her husband only took a break from active church ministry.
Some controversy surrounding the late pastor included claims that he died and resurrected after five days.
Some religious individuals had slammed him for not tolerating opposing views and thus his huge following had big influence in the religious space.
The Church is located at Ngleshie Amanfro near the Kasoa toll booth with large numbers of congregants led by the late Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye.
Ghanaians have always commended him for his efforts in busing congregants at no cost to church premises during church hours.
The news of his passing emerged on Wednesday, with congregants of his church trooping in at his residence and church premises.
