Popular and multiple award-winning musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid has disappointed his fans in Ghana as he fails to show up at his concert.
The Nigerian singer who is also a Gammy-award-wining singer is regarded as one of the biggest and most influential African artists and has won countless awards in his career.
Wizkid was expected to show up for his concert slated on 10th December 2022 at Accra Sports Stadium.
Fans were made to wait for several hours with hope of sighting their favourite singer on stage.
It is believed that Wizkid was supposed to perform in front of about 5,000 people who massed up at the stadium.
The concert which had already raked in a whopping tickets sales between GH¢300 to GH¢3,200 did not meet fans expectations.
Aggrieved fans expressed their disappointment and grumbled about the situation insisting to see the star on stage or get a refund.
It’s alleged that Cheddar, a Ghanaian wealthy businessman was at the concert to cheer the singer with fans.
The musician however has apologized in a social media post to fans for this incident.
