The Ministry of the Interior has officially rolled out the second stage of the 2025/2026 enlistment exercise for the nation’s Internal Security Services.
This development comes via the Centralized Services E-Recruitment Portal, aimed at streamlining the onboarding of qualified candidates into key national agencies. Successful participants from the initial screening round are now advancing to more rigorous evaluations, marking a significant step in bolstering Ghana’s security framework amid ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and operational efficiency.
Ghana Internal Security Services Phase Two of 2025/2026 Recruitment Drive Date
In this phase, shortlisted applicants will participate in thorough documentation reviews and physical assessments scheduled between January 12 and February 4, 2026. These procedures are designed to verify credentials and ensure physical fitness, aligning with the stringent standards required for roles in security enforcement. The ministry emphasized that this stage is crucial for maintaining transparency and merit-based selection, reducing any potential irregularities in the process.
The evaluations will proceed in a structured sequence, prioritizing different services to manage logistics effectively. It begins with candidates vying for positions in the Ghana Police Service, who will be the first group to undergo the checks. Subsequent groups include aspirants for the Ghana Prisons Service, followed by the Ghana National Fire Service, and concluding with the Ghana Immigration Service, allowing for organized handling of the large applicant pool.
At present, invitations are exclusively being extended to Ghana Police Service hopefuls, with the ministry advising others to monitor the portal for updates on their respective schedules. Officials have urged all participants to prepare necessary documents in advance and adhere to guidelines to facilitate a smooth process, underscoring the government’s commitment to a fair and efficient recruitment system.
