Minister in charge of Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu Rejects GH₵78 Million Allocation Claims in a viral video
In a recent video statement, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister of State for Government Communications, firmly denied allegations that his office was allocated GH₵78 million in the 2025 budget.
Addressing what he described as “disinformation” spread by elements of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwakye Ofosu clarified that the funds in question were designated for three longstanding state agencies under his supervision, not for his personal office.
The statement comes as part of a broader effort to counter claims from the Minority caucus in Parliament, which had criticized the government for what they deemed an excessive allocation to the Office of Government Machinery.
