John Kumah, Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu’s is dead sparking shock among Ghanaians.
His demise has saddened many with sources close to his family confirmed his death at the age of 45 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife and six children, leaving behind a legacy that touched many lives.
John Ampontuah Kumah, affectionately known as Lawyer John Kumah, was renowned in Ejisu, Ashanti Region, for his integrity and commitment to job creation. He was revered for instilling hope for the future in both young and old alike. As the founding Managing Director of Majak Associates Ltd, a leading construction firm in Ghana, he spearheaded numerous construction projects across the nation.
Transitioning to law, he established the Aduaprokye Chambers and served as its Managing Partner before his appointment as CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) in 2017. Under his leadership, NEIP trained over 45,000 start-ups within three years, facilitating job creation opportunities for Ghana’s youth through the Presidential Business Support Programme.
