Uefa Champions League Draw: Round of 16
The UEFA Champions draw goes live with Europe’s top teams to know their respective opponents to face in the Round of 16.
The group winners include Bayern Munich, Benfica, Chelsea, Manchester City, Napoli, Porto, Real Madrid and Tottenham, which means none of these sides can be drawn against one another.
Spain’s only representatives in the pots are Real Madrid, Los Blancos progressed as group winners.
The runners-up were Club Bruges, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Inter, RB Leipzig, Liverpool, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
Uefa Champions League draw, How it works
The draw will be held on Monday, November 7 in Nyon and features 16 teams that advanced from the group stage.
This draw will establish the round of 16 ties to be played on February 14, 15, 21 and 22, and the return legs on March 7, 8, 14 and 15.
As in the group stage, teams from the same country cannot play each other. Real Madrid doesn’t have this problem, since they are the only Spanish club still in the competition.
Teams That Qualified for the Uefa Championship League round of 16
Out of the 16 teams, eight are seeded (group winners), while the other eight teams are unseeded (runners-up).

The group winners pot is made up of: Napoli, Porto, Bayern Munich, Tottenham, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Benfica.
Runners-Up Pot
In the runners-up pot we find: Liverpool, Club Brugge, Inter, Eintracht Frankfurt, AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and PSG.
When the Game Resumes
The tournament will resume after the World Cup, with some fans calling it a Valentine’s-Day contest upon resumption.
