The Black Stars, featuring several changes to their lineup, struggled to resist El Triβs dominance, conceding goals from Hirving Lozano and Uriel Antuna in the second half.
Despite a revamped team in the second half, with players like Jordan Ayew and Inaki Williams introduced, Ghana failed to mount a successful comeback against Mexico.
The match took a decisive turn in the 72nd minute when Antuna outpaced Ghanaβs defenders, sealing a 2-0 win with a well-placed shot past goalkeeper Ati Zigi.

Hughton, facing challenges, had to cope with an inexperienced defensive lineup due to injuries sidelining key players like Salisu Mohammed, Alexander Djiku, Daniel Amartey, and Tariq Lamptey.
