Management of Citi FM and Citi TV has initiated the development of housing units, a school, a market, and a health post in Bakpa Awadiwoe-Kome, located in the Central Tongu district of the Volta Region
This construction effort is a crucial component of Citi FM/Citi TV’s impactful “OperationRebuild” project, specifically designed to establish resettlement centers for individuals displaced by the recent Akosombo Dam spillage.
During a brief ceremony marking the commencement of construction, Samuel Attah-Mensah, the Managing Director of Citi FM/TV, addressed the assembled group.
He expressed that this decision is a significant step toward providing enduring relief to those adversely affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage, emphasizing the commitment of Citi FM/Citi TV to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of the victims.
