Details of the Alleged Child Trafficking Halted by Ghana Police
According to the UTV reporter who covered the incident some unknown persons explained that the children were aboard from school due to vacation and had to return to their homes.
However, one 24-year old among the children said his parent owns a boat in a fishing community nearby and usually offer their support to their fishing activities.
Many have attributed the remarks made by the 24-year old as corroborating the allegations of child trafficking and that investigations into the matter are needed to unravel the truthfulness of the claims.
The driver of the bus also said his services were only requested for and has no idea about the children being trafficked, an excuse debunked by many who believe the driver is a potential culprit and must be investigated.
