A fleet of 12 state-of-the-art trains from Poland acquired by the government of Ghana has recently been involved in an accident during a test run in the Asuogyaman district
The train acquired to modernize Ghana’s rail network and provide enhanced transportation options was put to a test-run in the Asuogyaman district when it crashed with significant damages.
The cause for the accident is yet to be revealed by the authorities however, no casualties was recorded as of yet and the ministry is yet to release any statement on the developing story.

The newly acquired trains are designed for operation on regional and long-distance lines, expanding the capabilities of Ghana Railways. Many have opined that the trains will improve connectivity across the country and support economic development through efficient and reliable rail services.
