Ghanaian culinary artist, Failatu Abdul-Razak, recently embarked on a remarkable endeavor to surpass the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest individual cooking marathon, but unfortunately ending unsuccessful

However, her valiant effort fell short of the desired outcome, marking an end to her ambitious pursuit.

Chef Faila aimed to break the existing Guinness World Record (GWR) of 119 hours set by Alan Fisher, striving to establish a new culinary milestone.

Despite her unwavering determination and tireless dedication, the rigorous criteria set forth by GWR posed insurmountable challenges to her aspirations.

In an official statement shared via her Instagram platform on Sunday, March 3, Chef Faila candidly disclosed that her attempt encountered obstacles that prevented her from meeting the stringent guidelines mandated by the Guinness World Records. Despite the setback, she received words of commendation from GWR, along with encouragement to persevere in her future endeavors.
