In a video message that has since gone viral on social media, the Ghanaian-born soldier, currently serving in the Russian military, has publicly warned investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, accusing him of seeking information about an alleged illegal recruitment scheme targeting young Ghanaians for enlistment in Russia’s armed forces.
The soldier, whose identity has not been disclosed, claims that Anas contacted him to gather details on individuals purportedly involved in this illicit operation, which he asserts involves deceptive methods to lure Ghanaian youth into military service.
