The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has issued an important reminder to all passport applicants in Ghana who made payments for their applications before April 1, 2024, but have not yet completed their biometric capture.
These individuals are urged to visit their selected Passport Application Centres (PACs) to finalize the application process as soon as possible.
Applications submitted under the One Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢100.00) and One Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢150.00) payment options, and which have not yet been processed, will no longer be valid after October 18, 2024.
This deadline applies specifically to applications initiated before April 1, 2024. Failure to complete the process by the stated deadline means the applicant will have to restart the application process.
The Ministry is counting on the cooperation of all affected applicants to ensure a smooth and timely completion of their passport processing. This is a crucial step to avoid the invalidation of their applications and the inconvenience of reapplying.
