Donald Trump Supporter and Former Spokesperson, Taylor Budowich Confirms Appearance Before Federal Grand Jury

donald trump supporter and former spokesperson, taylor budowich confirms appearance before federal grand jury

Supporter and former spokesperson for Donald Trump, Taylor Budowich, has confirmed his appearance before a federal grand jury in Florida

The grand jury is conducting an investigation into the handling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, and Budowich’s testimony suggests that the investigation is reaching its conclusion.

Budowich, who previously served as a spokesperson for Trump, is now leading Make American Great Again Inc., an organization that supports Trump’s upcoming presidential campaign in 2024.

Following the news of Budowich’s testimony, Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the multiple investigations he is facing from various authorities, including the Justice Department, New York Attorney General Letitia James, New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in Georgia. Trump shared his concerns in a post on Truth Social, a social media platform he recently launched.

Recent developments indicate that the investigation led by Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith may be drawing to a close. Last week, former Vice President Mike Pence was cleared of any wrongdoing regarding the classified documents discovered at his Indiana residence. Trump’s legal team also visited the Department of Justice on Monday to discuss Smith’s inquiry.

According to NBC News, the grand jury has resumed its meetings this week.

The focus of the grand jury investigation revolves around over 300 classified documents that were seized from Mar-a-Lago last year. Most of these documents were obtained through a subpoena issued in June, while others were discovered during an FBI search in August. Prosecutors are examining potential mishandling of the documents and allegations of obstruction of justice, including the possibility of hiding or relocating them.

Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing, asserting his right to retain the documents and claiming that he declassified them. However, authorities have found no evidence to support his claims.

In an effort to divert attention from President Joe Biden’s perceived incompetence, Trump’s campaign released a new advertisement. The ad argues that the ongoing investigations are merely distractions and features images of former FBI Director James Comey, New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith, and former special counsel Robert Mueller. Both Comey and Mueller were involved in investigations related to Trump’s impeachment during his presidency. Bragg has charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records, and a trial is scheduled for March.
