Prince David Osei, popular Ghanaian actor who has been a staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party  is being trolled on Twitter following his post on Instagram about the state of the economy.

The actor took to his Instagram page by issuing an ultimatum hoping to see improved economic conditions in the country or else mobilize the youth for a demonstration.

“we will mobilize the youth of this country and hit the street irrespective of party affiliation.” He said.

The actor posted a picture of World Bank’s Report on Ghana‘s inflation where Ghana was  ranked number one with highest food price increases of 122% in Sub-Saharan Africa

Social media fans especially Twitter hurriedly responded in a heat to the celebrity’s post with all manner of trolls. Some Twitter users bashed the actor for being a staunch supporter of the governing party (NPP) for political gains.

The actor, who campaigned for the ruling party and did so openly for the Ayawaso West Wuogon’s NPP candidate now Member of Parliament, Lydia Alhassan has dramatically turned a new leaf.

The actor during the #FixTheCountry demonstrations, took to his Twitter account to admonish agitating youths to fix themselves first.

“Just maybe if we fix ourselves first, then we can fix our country, we’re all full of hate, greed, selfishness and nonchalant attitude. God help [Ghana] #FixYourSelf.” He said.

Ghanaians have been very sensitive to matters on the economy as they will absorb the heat of  bad economic policies or enjoy the benefits that come with good economic policies.

Is the actor sincerely changing his political stance as any patriotic citizen would do or just a political tactfulness.
