Mr. Joseph Yammin, a former Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former Deputy Minister for the region , has said that he is the right person for the National Organizer position of the party.
He has express his interest in contesting for the position of National Organizer and holds the view that a strong national executive team will be the impetus to win the 2024 elections and that he will see to the realization of same and towards the party’s success.
He is expected to to face the incumbent National Organizer, Mr. Joshua Akamba in the contest which according to Mr. Joseph Yammin, thinks stands a better chance of winning such contest in the future.
Mr. Joshua Akamba who played a pivotal role in office including inspiring NDC members in the diaspora recently and controversially was spotted wielding a weapon among a crowd of Arise Ghana demonstrators.
The question is, will Joseph Yammin fall on this controversy surrounding the wielding of gun in public by Joshua Akamba as a campaign strategy to help win the contest? We live to see as many say.
“In the NDC, whoever comes up for the position of National Organizer is qualified, but now I see myself as being able to convert a half chance into a goal. The others may be good, but I think that I am the right person to lead the party.” He said.
