According to the figures from the camp of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bawumia has garnered 158,606 votes, representing 51.23% of the total votes counted so far. Meanwhile, Mahama follows closely with 144,008 votes, securing 46.52%.

Also according to the figures from the camp of the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama has obtained 4,517,740 votes representing 56.19% with his opponent from the New Patriotic Party Dr Bawumia obtaining 3,322,429 votes representing 41.33%. These figures however have not been formally declared nor debunked by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.

Observers are urging calm and patience as the Electoral Commission works to finalize and validate the results. While Bawumia currently holds a marginal lead, Mahama’s supporters remain hopeful about closing the gap as outstanding results are tallied. The outcome of this election will significantly shape Ghana’s trajectory for the next four years, reflecting the will of its citizens in these critical times.
