Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, running mate for John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress has questioned flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s competence in salvaging the country’s economy.
In an interview on Ghanaweb, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang blamed the economic crisis on the current Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia adding that he doesn’t know it all and claims to turn the economy around for good solely has led the country into an economic disaster.
She also added that the once economic wizkid and guru has now taken a new position and ‘doing digital’ instead of seeing to the economic recovery, a role he was entrusted with.

We had an economic guru, an economic whiz kid. Why are we here? We don’t all have to be economists, but we live in the economy… It is not next year only that it’s going to be tough. It’s tough right now and the one in charge is saying he is now doing digital.
That’s why I’m saying, let’s link minds. Don’t come saying, ‘I’m the one ordained to solve all the problems.’ You are not,”
