Boxing icon Azumah Nelson is making a comeback to the ring after nearly two decades in a special event focused on empowering youth through sports as he fights European Union Ambassador Irchad Razaaly.
The 3-time former World Champion will face European Union Ambassador Irchad Razaaly in an exhibition bout designed to showcase how sports can drive positive change for young people.
The event, titled “Diplo-Rumble,” highlights the collaborative relationship between the European Union and Ghana as part of the annual Europe Month celebrations.
Diplo-Rumble will be held at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra and is set to attract boxing enthusiasts, diplomats, government officials, and young boxers. The event is open to the public, with tickets priced at GHC 5, which will be used to purchase equipment for young boxers.
