Afua Asantewaa Attempts Guinness World Record Singathon for the Second Time
Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador, Afua Asantewaa O. Aduonum, has made headlines once again with her incredible feat in the music world. She completed her second official attempt at the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest singing marathon by an individual with a stunning performance of 121 hours and 39 minutes.
The singathon, which was scheduled from December 21st to December 25th, took place at the Heroes’ Park at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. Ghanaians turned out in droves to cheer her on, showcasing immense support and national pride as Afua Asantewaa graced the stage with unmatched energy and passion.
Over the five-day marathon, Afua Asantewaa delivered an extraordinary performance featuring a diverse repertoire of over 200 songs.
