Ghanaian politician, NDC National communications officer and lawyer Sammy Gyamfi called the Attorney General of Ghana, Godfred Yeboah Dame ‘illiterate and ignorant’ following the AG’s confusion about ISO certification during the ambulance trial involving Richard Jakpa, the AG and Minority Leader Dr Cassiel Ato Forson in court
The Attorney General of Ghana and Minister for Justice Godfred Dame appeared confused about what ISO Certification means when he took over cross-examination of Jakpa in ambulance procurement trial
Godfred Yeboah Dame took over the cross-examination from his deputy Alfred Tuah-Yeboah to interrogate the third accused Richard Jakpa where the drama unfolded.
According to the third accused, the Attorney General had asked why an ISO certificate dated 2015 was an incorporation document.
He remarked that ‘clearly didn’t know the essence or purpose of the ISO certification as he explained that such certification purposely covers businesses and manufacturers with respect to international standards on quality.
