An Accra High Court, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, rejected a legal action initiated by Deborah Seyram Adablah alleged side chick of banker Ernest Kwasi Nimako, whom she claimed was her benefactor
The court’s decision to dismiss the case was based on the argument presented by Nimako’s legal representatives from the renowned Kulendi@Law, who asserted that the case lacked merit.
Kwasi Nimako’s lawyers contended that Adablah failed to provide a reasonable cause of action and questioned the legality of the contract she sought to enforce.
The court, in alignment with Nimako’s legal team, ruled that the plaintiff, Deborah Seyram Adablah, did not raise any substantive issues in her suit.
Banker’s Side Chick Demands
Adablah’s allegations included Nimako’s agreement to purchase a car, fund her accommodation for three years, provide a monthly stipend of GH¢3,000, marry her post-divorce, and offer a lump sum for a business startup.
She further claimed that although the car was initially registered in Nimako’s name, he reclaimed it after a year, depriving her of its use. Additionally, she asserted that Nimako only covered one year of accommodation, contrary to the promised three years.
The plaintiff sought a court order compelling Nimako to transfer the car’s title to her name and return the vehicle. Furthermore, she requested the court to mandate Nimako to fulfill his commitment of providing the lump sum to support her business venture.
