Manchester United clinch victory over Crystal Palace in a heated contest as the Brazilian star Casemiro gets booked for red card for an offence.
Man United forward Bruno Fernandes scored an opener from the penalty shoot resulting from Will Hughes’ handball spotted by the referee.
Rashford scored the second goal converting Luke Shaw’s cross 17 minutes after the second half.
In a dramatic confrontation, Antony and Jeffrey Schlupp were also booked, with Casemiro picking up red card for an offence captured in the VAR where Casemiro was spotted grabbing Palace midfielder Will Hughes by the throat.
Consequently, the referee Andre Marriner decided to send Casemiro off after review of the video for violent conduct, for a three-match domestic ban.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag who was infuriated slammed the inconsistency of Video Assistant Referees and opined that Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew should have been sent off as well.
According to sports analysts, Ayew was also seen grabbing United midfielder Fred’s throat but that was not deemed a red card offence.
Football fans have trolled the Brazilian stars Anthony and Casemiro for the performances and offences that got them booked despite their side win over Crystal Palace.
