The incident occurred after the player mimicked Mohammed Kudus’ iconic “take a seat” goal celebration following a late match-winning goal.
Saud Abdulhamid was the hero for Al Hilal, scoring a decisive goal in the 81st minute of the match at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. His goal secured a 2-1 victory for Al Hilal over their rivals, Al Ittihad.
After scoring, Saud Abdulhamid celebrated by running to a steward for a chair and sitting down in front of the Al Ittihad fans, mimicking Kudus’ well-known celebration. This move prompted a negative reaction from some Al Ittihad fans, who began throwing plastic bottles onto the pitch in response.
